Course Overview

Agile is a way for teams to work together to develop a product using an iterative, incremental method of managing the design and build. Building products one small piece at a time encourages creativity and enables teams to respond to feedback and change, to build exactly and only what is needed.

However, Agile is much more than a methodology. Agile supports our need to be human at work: to belong, to learn, to do, to create, to grow, to improve, and to interact with other people. In other words, Agile leverages the innate traits and characteristics in people to allow them to do great things together and lead more rewarding lives at work.

Our agile training is developed for companies and teams looking to implement agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP and Lean or a high level overview of the different approaches. Agile isn't just for IT too, it can be used to help all teams become more effective and efficient in everything they do. If you're a project manager, team leader, business analyst or just working in an environment that is embracing agile then this is for you.

If your organisation’s highest priority is to satisfy customers in a rapidly changing world, then the agile methodology with its early and continuous delivery holds the key.

Agile forces us to welcome changing requirements, even late in a project. They force us to harness change as a competitive advantage. While other organisations are baulking at the prospect and cowering away from change, yours is driving forward, adapting to changing circumstances and capitalising as a result.

Did Donald Trump win the US Election because of a growing gap between the haves and the have nots? Perhaps. But his chaotic style and “say what I want, when I want” approach left many of his adversaries scrambling back to their advisors, looking to formulate their next words, by which point Trump had moved on to the next topic.

Making chaos and change your organisation’s friend.

By becoming an agile organisation, your organisation will become more collaborative rather than silo’d, it will become one that empowers its people rather than dictates to them, it will become an organisation that does more doing than planning and will focus on maximizing the amount of work not done by focusing on what absolutely needs to be done.

It will hone and foster these philosophies and continuously improve to become a value creator, rather than just an executor of process which most 20th Century minded companies have become.

We can give your employees the capability to think and act agile, both in technical and non-technical roles.

Our agile training can be delivered face to face, online or via a blended delivery model and be customised to your organisation’s unique requirements.
