Design Thinking Workshop

A workshop aimed at helping you develop the design thinking mindset.

Design thinking is about believing we can make a difference, and having an intentional process in order to get to new, relevant solutions that create positive impact. It’s a human-centric, critical yet creative way to ideate, build and improve innovative solutions. For organisations, design thinking can be a powerful tool to helping your company tackle complex problems innovatively.

Collective Campus will be running an introductory workshop on design thinking, complete with a design-thinking challenge to give you a hands-on experience on how design thinking works.

Our one-hour crash course and design-thinking challenge will help you:

  • Understand what human-centric design and user-driven solutions is
  • Break down complex issues, or find latent problems within everyday situations to uncover opportunities for innovation
  • How to use insights and to ideate solutions
  • Prototype solutions using a number of methods for user testing
  • Iterate and improve on solutions using more insights and feedback

We’ll be touching on the 5 different stages of design thinking:

  • Immersion – mapping a problem through observation, empathy, and data
  • Synthesis – pattern finding and making new connections
  • Ideation – driving and filtering creative ideas
  • Prototyping – forming a pitch; iterating and scaling the solution
  • Feedforward – finding channels to drive strong feedback for further growth

Design, or previous design thinking experience not necessary. However, class sizes are strictly limited, so make sure you book now
